The Ultimate Chocolate Pancake Recipe
Gü Milk Chocolate Mousse

Gü Chocolate & Salted Caramel Spread Pancake Recipe

Makes: 10 – 12 pancakes
Prep Time: 10 – 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 – 25 minutes

Ingredients:

Gü Double Chocolate American Pancakes

180g Plain flour (Gluten free flour can be used)

1 pinch of salt 

15g Cocoa powder 

60g Caster sugar 

15g Baking powder 

2 Medium sized eggs (Happy Eggs are our favourite!)

100g Gü Chocolate & Salted Caramel Velvety Spread

240ml Whole milk 

30g Melted butter

Toppings:

100g Gü Chocolate & Salted Caramel Spread

Handful of Broken Biscoff biscuits, approx. 4-5

20g Dark chocolate chips

1 Sliced banana 


Preparation: 

  1. Mix together the Gü Chocolate & Salted Caramel Spread with a little milk then whisk in the eggs and remaining milk  
  2. Sift together the dry ingredients 
  3. Make a well in the dry ingredients and gradually whisk in the mixture of spread, milk and egg mixture to make a smooth batter 
  4. Add the melted butter to the batter and fold together

Cooking:

  1. Heat a non-stick frying pan over a low-medium heat and brush with a little butter 
  2. Pour in a ladle of batter in to the centre of the pan and cook for 1 minute each side 
  3. Keep warm under a clean cloth while cooking further batches with the remaining batter

Serving Suggestion: 

  1. Stack 5 Pancakes on a plate
  2. Generously drizzle Gü Chocolate & Salted Caramel Spread over your stack 
  3. Top with the broken Biscoff biscuits and the sliced banana 
  4. Finish with a sprinkle of dark chocolate chips and drizzle with any remaining spread, if desired
