FAQs

Q: Who is Gü?

James Averdieck, Gü’s founder, came up with the idea for a top-notch chocolate pud brand when he was working in Belgium and fell in love with the local chocolate and patisserie. He decided there and then to set up a chocolate business.
We are all about chocolate extremism with a dollop of fun and the chocolate experience doesn’t get more extreme than our Puds.

We are a small, London-based company. Most Gü Chocolate Puds are produced in the UK, using 53% Belgian cocoa chocolate. Our mission is to build a brand that stands for seriously good chocolate and fruity puds with a decent helping of fun. In fact, we bill ourselves as chocolate extremists or chocolate ‘Gü-rus’, with James Averdieck as the ‘Chief Gü-meister’.

Q: Where are ü sold?

Gü is currently being sold in Woolworths with our Cheeky pots, Melting Puds and Cheesecakes and Coles with our Naughties range. In New Zealand, we will be launching in February 2011 so watch this space…
